Webs, Americas Yarn Store

Our first trip to Webs was everything we thought it would be. It’s in the beautiful town of Northampton in Massachusetts. We took the ferry from Port Jefferson then drove the rest of the way. The store is huge and had all the yarns I’ve heard of but, was never able to see or feel. Lorna’s Laces, Opal and Arne and Carlos to name a few.

If you go with a group of 6 or more, email or call them in advance and they will have a goody bag and coupons waiting for you. What a friendly staff! Marthe and Bonnie were really cool folks. The warehouse portion of the store had great deals. They have their own line of yarn called Valley Yarns. I picked up a few in different weights to try out. We will definitely be returning to this fiberista’s dream store.

We had lunch at the Northampton Brewery where I had one of the best clam chowders ever!
